  • 2. What is CBD?
    CBD is short for Cannabidiol. It is a natural occurring compound, or cannabinoid, found in the Cannabis sativa plant. It has no psychoactive effects and will not get you high.

    A salve (usually pronounced 'sav) is a topical application similar to a balm or ointment. It's applied to skin and joints for support.
  • 15. Can you overdose on CBD?
    CBD is non-toxic and there are no known cases of overdoses reported. This is attributed to the way are bodies are made to handle various cannabinoids and where our CB1 and CB2 receptors are located. Reports of drowsiness or diarrhea are common with taking too much CBD. Please see suggested use printed on each product label.
  • 27. Can I take CBD products while on prescription medication?
    We recommend consulting with your doctor before consuming products containing CBD.
  • 20. Can I view lab reports for your products?
    Yes, of course! We always have our lab reports posted online here, or you can visit mycbdtest.com and input the batch number printed on the bottom of our products. You can also scan the QR code printed on our labels to view the lab reports. We are very transparent with our lab results because we know how important it is to show our customers the quality and safety of our CBD oil.
  • 32. Is CBD addictive?
    CBD is non-addictive and non-psychoactive because of the way it acts on CB1 and CB2 receptors. It does not directly bind to these receptors but instead impacts them indirectly.

    We offer free shipping via USPS, which takes 3-5 days to most areas after payment settlement.
  • 23. How is your CBD extracted from hemp?
    We use eco-friendly supercritical CO2 extraction to produce a naturally rich whole plant extract. This process preserves desirable phytocannabinoids and terpenes while another proprietary process removes all traces of THC. While this last process may add an additional expense, the end product is a premium quality CBD oil without any psychoactive effects or side effects.

    Through our proprietary extraction and finishing process we remove all traces of THC to non-detectable levels. Our phytocannabinoid rich hemp oil has no psychoactive effects or side effects associated with THC.

    There are many ways to consume or use CBD for health and wellness. CBD can be found in oil that is placed under the tongue and held there for a short time before swallowing, also known as sublingual application. There are CBD softgels that are conveniently swallowed just like a daily vitamin. You can also vape CBD which is inhaled and taken in through the lungs. CBD salves and balms are topical applications used on skin and joints. Please see our product labels for specific suggested uses.
  • 5. What are cannabinoids?
    They're a group of naturally occurring chemical compounds that act on CB1 and CB2 receptors. These compounds, or cannabinoids, are naturally produced in humans, animals, and some plants. Cannabinoids produced by plants are technically called phytocannabinoids.
  • 19. What tests are performed on your products?
    Our premium broad spectrum CBD oil is tested in-house and by third party testing facilities. We test for safety to ensure our products are free from pesticides, bacteria, mold, heavy metals, and harmful solvents. We also test for quality to make sure things like potency, cannabinoid content and terpene content are properly measured and identified.

    Unlike the cannabinoid THC, CBD does not have any psychoactive effects and will not get you high. In fact CBD has been shown to decrease the effects of THC in the body.

    Our CBD has fast absorption properties and people have reported feeling effects within 20 minutes to 1 hour after using our products. With that said, everyone reacts differently so your results may vary.

    CBD produced from industrial hemp containing less than 0.3% THC is legal in all 50 states thanks to the 2014 and 2018 Farm Bill.

    Terpenes are the aromatic and flavorful component of plants. There are many benefits of naturally occurring terpenes in hemp and they all play a role in producing what is know as the "entourage effect".

  • 8. What's the difference between CBD oil and hemp seed oil?
    CBD oil contains cannabinoids. These cannabinoids are extracted from the leaves and flowers of industrial hemp. Hemp seed oil is made from the seeds of hemp, and while offering many nutritional benefits, they contain no CBD or other cannabinoids.

    All of our CBD products are lab tested in-house and by third party testing facilities to insure quality and safety. All ingredients are natural and food grade.
  • 1. What's the difference between full spectrum CBD oil, broad spectrum CBD oil, and CBD isolate?"
    Full spectrum oil is a whole plant extract that contains naturally occurring cannabinoids and terpenes including the psychoactive cannabinoid THC. Broad spectrum oil is also a whole plant extract that contains naturally occurring cannabinoids and terpenes but with THC removed. CBD isolate is CBD in its purest form, but does not contain any other beneficial cannabinoids or terpenes. It is usually found in the form of a powder or crystal.

    Cannabis has been used for health and wellness for thousands of years. While legally we are not able to make any health claims, many people around the world use CBD as a supplement to support them in their daily lives.     You do not need a prescription or medical marijuana card to purchase our CBD products. Our THC-free products are legal in all 50 states.
  • 35. How should I store my CBD?
    Store in a cool dry place and keep away from sunlight. You can also store our tincture oils in your refrigerator.
  • 37. What is a CBD oil tincture?
    An oil tincture is a bottle that contains a dropper applicator. Usually this dropper contains a liquid volume of 1ml when full or filled to an indicator marking. The dropper is submerged in oil and the top of the dropper is squeezed and let go to fill with liquid.
  • 36. What is the shelf life of your products?
    There is an expiration date printed on the bottom of all of our products. Generally CBD oil has a shelf life of anywhere between 18 and 24 months if properly stored in a cool dry place.

  • 34. How much should I take?

  • 7. What is phytocannabinoid-rich hemp, also known as PCR hemp?"
    Phytocannabinoid-rich hemp, PCR hemp for short, is a naturally evolved strain of industrial hemp which has a high concentration of CBD and other cannabinoids but less than .3% THC.
  • 18. What are the benefits of taking CBD oil without THC?
    Many full spectrum CBD products on the market today may contain more THC than people realize. Even with the legal limit of 0.3% or less of THC allowed in hemp extract, in large doses there is a possibility of psychoactive effects. This is why lab reports are an important tool in evaluating CBD products. Our broad spectrum oil contains no detectable THC, so you don't have to worry about feeling impaired or intoxicated. Our products are also great for athletes and employees that may be tested for THC. There are also people very sensitive to THC even in small amounts that can benefit from our products.
  • 22. Will I pass a drug test if I use your CBD products?
    While our products contain no detectable THC which is verified by our third party lab results, some tests may only check for the presence of a broad range of cannabinoids. These tests may not be sophisticated enough to test only for the presence of THC. If passing a drug test is a concern we recommend not using any products containing CBD.
  • 6. What is the difference between hemp and marijuana?
    Both hemp and marijuana are strains of the Cannabis sativa plant. The only difference is the amount of CBD and THC content in each strain. Hemp has high amounts of CBD and very low levels of THC. Legally THC levels must be below 0.3% in industrial hemp. Marijuana has high levels of the psychoactive cannabinoid THC and lower levels of CBD.
  • 11. What is the entourage effect?
    The entourage effect is the combination of cannabinoids and terpenes working together to produce desirable effects thought to be more beneficial than a single cannabinoid product like CBD isolate.
  • 4. What is the endocannabinoid system (ECS)?
    The endocannabinoid system contains CB1 receptors found in the brain and central nervous system, and CB2 receptors found throughout the peripheral nervous system and immune system. This system is responsible for the modulation and regulation of many bodily functions such as sleep, pain, mood, appetite, and responses from the immune system. In essence it contributes to homeostasis, or balance, in all major body systems in response to changes in the environment.
